Hi, I’m Gabe.

I’m a product and brand designer in New York.

I’ve lived in eight places to get here, across the U.S. and in London, and being the new kid over and over made me adaptable, which shows up in how I design. I grew up drawing and painting, then found design at Penn and switched my major from biology. Now I design products and brands and build them myself.

I spend as much time outside as I can: hiking, cycling, running, skiing in the winter and golf in the summer. I’ll try almost anything once, which is how I ended up paragliding over Lake Annecy and cycling from Geneva to the Mediterranean with my family.

The French Alps

A family hiking trip near Lake Annecy for my mom’s 55th birthday. She loves it when we all join her, and the views were breathtaking.

Brooklyn Half

My first timed race. Hannah is the real runner, so I did it for her. Running with a crowd who all trained for the same goal, with a city cheering us on, was heartwarming.

Seven Sisters

The first time I brought Hannah back to England. A hike with her and my mom that mixed two things we love: British history and a good walk.

Geneva to the Med

Our family bike trip, Geneva to the Mediterranean. My dad is the one who loves long-distance cycling, and he’s always encouraged us to join him.

Hocking Hills

My first visit to Hannah’s home in Columbus. She showed me around, and the Midwest always feels like home.

Malibu

As Covid was winding down and so much was still closed, hiking became how I stayed active. It stuck.

I still draw and paint, too (some of it is here), and I root for the Chicago teams (Go Bears, Bulls, Cubs, Blackhawks!).

Experience

1. Himedi

   Designer

   Since December 2024

   Himedi is a startup that helps people in the U.S. book health checkups in Korea.

   I’m the only designer, so I design the whole U.S. product, from the homepage and the checkup builder to the booking flow and the marketing around them.

   I built the storefront’s first component library, with 30 components and 59 design tokens, and it now runs across the 195-page site.

   I designed both of Himedi’s repositionings, eight months apart: first a concierge for high-spending travelers in December 2025, then a modern longevity brand in August 2026.

   I also run Himedi’s creative and grew its Instagram from 2,000 to 25,000 followers.

2. TEDxPenn

   Design team

   September 2023 to April 2024

   I was part of the TEDxPenn 2024 design team, creating campaign graphics across apparel, merchandise, social media and animation.

3. Betley Lab, University of Pennsylvania

   Graphic design and research intern

   May 2022 to May 2023

   I turned the lab’s research into clear diagrams, data visualizations and figures ready for publication.
